Terms & community guidelines

Updated October 27, 2026. NL News is an Unknown Roads project. By using the site or submitting a listing, you agree to these terms.

Information and linked reporting

Headlines link to independent publishers who are responsible for their reporting. Feed availability, classifications and update times can vary. Weather, tide and marine information may be delayed or unavailable. Consult official sources for safety decisions.

Trading post

Submit only truthful listings you have authority to publish. No scams, harassment, impersonation, discrimination, illegal goods or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not publish sensitive information or someone else’s contact details without permission.

Submissions require approval and may be rejected or removed. Approval is not verification of the seller, buyer, goods or claims. Public listings expire after 30 days. Transactions are between participants; NL News does not process payments, hold deposits or guarantee a sale. Protect your account and recovery key.

Your content and advertising

You retain your rights in your submissions and allow us to display and moderate them to operate the service. Paid placements are labelled. Third-party reporting, photos and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and stated licences.

Availability and concerns

We aim to provide useful information, but cannot guarantee accuracy, uninterrupted access or third-party services. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law gives you. Terms may change as the service develops; this page shows its update date.
