Tide predictions describe astronomical water levels relative to chart datum. Wind and atmospheric pressure can move the actual water level above or below the prediction. Local currents may turn at different times from high or low water. This page does not estimate current speed, slack water or a safe departure window.
Which town, harbour & marine area should I use?
Select the community for your land forecast, then choose your actual tide harbour and the named marine area you will travel in. Nearby towns can share an observing station. Tide differences around headlands, bays and narrows mean the nearest station may not describe your location.
